    Time: 9:00am – 5:00pm (Registration opens at 8:00am)  

    Location: Sheridan College, Trafalgar Road Campus, MacDonald-Heaslip Hall , 1430 Trafalgar Road, Oakville, ON L6H 2L1. The hall is located in Building B2 (middle set of doors in courtyard -  SouthWest of parking lot)

    Parking:  Free parking is located in Staff Lot # 2 (2nd lot on the left just before security booth), accessible via North Entrance to Sheridan – Sheridan Way (Off of Trafalgar Rd. – opposite White Oaks Blvd) and then follow  the event signs  (map). Their is handicap parking available in this lot, too.     Getting Ready for TEDxOakville? Here’s What You Need to Know

    With just days to go before TEDxOakville, we’re putting the final preparations in place for what’s shaping up to be a day to remember. Because we’re aiming to completely fill the day with amazing moments, we also need you to be prepared. Here’s what you need to know:

     Doors to MacDonald-Heaslip Hall (D Wing) will open at 8:00am and we encourage everyone to arrive well before the 9:00am start time. Please check in with registration upon arrival and retrieve your name badge. We will have a coat check for you, and volunteers will be available to guide you.  Lunch will be served.

    Cell phones, Computers & Cameras

    Cell phones must be turned off when inside the theatre. No cameras or laptops will be allowed, except in the last rows of the theatre, as not to disturb other attendees. If you are late to TEDxOakville, you will not be permitted inside the theatre until there is a break between speakers. 

    Dress Comfortable

    Like we said, it’s a long day. Casual attire is  encouraged.

    The Theater Will be Completely Full

    Pretend it’s a flight. Please arrive early to secure a seat and we appreciate you sitting up front, don’t be shy. Make lots of friends. Sit in a few different places.
